Unblock request 3

This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

2601:644:1:B7CB:49DB:79A9:AF9:81DC (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

See User_talk:2601:644:1:B7CB:7898:6775:3FD2:7537 and User_talk:2601:644:1:B7CB:9CB2:83B3:48F1:E6D for previous unblock requests. (Note that my IP address changes periodically and I am only able to edit the talk page of the current value at any given time.)

The reason for my block has never been clearly stated. User:Jamez42, speaking on behalf of User:Bbb23 (which seems to be an alternate account operated by the same entity), alleged that User:Augurar and I are the same person. I deny this allegation. The local network I use is shared by several people, so it's possible that Augurar has used the same IP range, but this is out of my control. Moreover, Augurar's recent contributions seem to be relatively infrequent and completely benign.

User:Huon commented that editing as an IP user "may be seen as an attempt to evade scrutiny." As far as I know my IP address remains in the same CIDR range set by my ISP, most likely 2601:644:1:B7CB:49DB::/64, which anyone may scrutinize if they like. As the edit log shows I have not engaged in any deceptive activity and my edits have all been good-faith improvements. I can't account for every single edit due to the shared IP range situation, but the edits seem to be predominantly mine. That being said, I am willing to create an account for future editing if the admins feel this would provide better accountability.

In my opinion, this block has nothing to do with sock-puppetry and is in fact an unjustified abuse of admin privileges to enact political censorship on Misplaced Pages. 2601:644:1:B7CB:49DB:79A9:AF9:81DC (talk) 09:37, 20 March 2019 (UTC)

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}} with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

User infoThis is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address.
