You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Misplaced Pages accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at ]. Thank you. Marquardtika (talk) 15:31, 23 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi Marquardtika, as I explain on your page, I am not a sockpuppet and welcome any investigation into my behavior. I believe you have made this allegation in bad faith to deflect from your bad faith behavior on Leonard Leo' page. I offer on a third. I welcome further dialogue on this matter. Your submission at Articles for creation: sandbox (October 24)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by KylieTastic was: This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Misplaced Pages article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of organizations and companies). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Misplaced Pages. Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved. KylieTastic (talk) 16:52, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest

Information icon Hello, Publius In The 21st Century. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Misplaced Pages, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Misplaced Pages:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Misplaced Pages's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Misplaced Pages:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Per Snowycats (talk) 02:26, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

Snowycats Thanks for working so fairly to resolve this concern, and I'm glad to be able to clear my name on this score. Publius In The 21st Century (talk) 07:06, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

@Snowycats: Glad to have resolved, this, too, as a misunderstanding. Appreciate your dilligence and your time. Publius In The 21st Century (talk) 06:52, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

Sockpuppet investigation

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Misplaced Pages account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Misplaced Pages:Sockpuppet investigations/Publius In The 21st Century, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Misplaced Pages administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Misplaced Pages policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Misplaced Pages community.

Snowycats (talk) 03:37, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

@Snowycats: Very glad to have resolved this as a misunderstanding; thank you for the fair and judicious treatment here. Publius In The 21st Century (talk) 06:51, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
