William Michael Hegarty (June 30, 1931 – October 31, 2002) was an American football offensive tackle in the National Football League for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Washington Redskins. He played college football at the University of Georgia and Villanova University and was drafted in the fifteenth round of the 1952 NFL draft by the Los Angeles Rams. Hegarty died on October 31, 2002, at the age of 71.
