Deepak Singhal is an Indian business executive currently working as executive officer at Tolaram Group, a Singapore-based commercial enterprise.

Early life

Singhal was born and raised in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. His father, Ram Kumar Singhal, was a businessman, and his mother, Shakuntala Devi Singhal, was a homemaker.

Education

Singhal attended St. Lawrence School for his secondary education. He completed his bachelor's in commerce from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata in 1997.

He holds the Chartered Accountants membership from ICAI

Careers

Singhal works as a top-level manager at Tolaram Group. He had worked with Hindustan Unilever before joining Tolaram Group.

Accolades

Singhal is one of the seven foreign nationals to receive the National Honors Award, the highest civilian honor from the Government of Nigeria, presented by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2022. Listed among the Top CEOs of Africa, recognized by CEO Today Magazine as part of the Africa Awards in 2019.
