In Greek mythology, Ekecheiria, Ekekheiria, or Ecechiria (/ɛsɪˈkaɪri.ə/; Ancient Greek: Ἐκεχειρία means 'armistice, truce') was the spirit and personification of truce, armistice, and cessation of hostilities. The term is also used to refer to the Olympic truce.
