16th-century Central Asian court poet and historian

Hafiz Tanish (Persian: حافظ تنیش) was a 16th-century Central Asian court poet and historian in the Khanate of Bukhara. He is author of the Sharaf-nama-yi shahi, a Persian history book authorized by his suzerain Abdullah Khan II (r. 1583–1598).
