Akpede Joel Oghenemaro (born 22 December), professionally known as JayDaGRT, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter. He gained exposure with his single Etihad from his debut Extended Play "Life", released On 31 January.

Early life and career

Prior to pursuing music full-time, JayDaGRT worked as a palm oil marketer for Okomu Palm Oil. During this period, he allocated a portion of his earnings to fund his musical endeavors.

Music career

JayDaGRT's entry into the music industry was marked by the recording of his debut EP "Life", funded by his savings from his previous occupation. JayDaGRT expressed his desire to collaborate with prominent figures in the music industry, including Burna Boy, with production by JAE5.
