Khawaraoji is a village located in the Dausa district of the Indian state of Rajasthan.

Geography

Khawaraoji is a village located in the Dausa district of Rajasthan, India. It is known the grandeur Palace and Fort of Chauhan, Rajput. It is located around 26 km from Dausa.

The Palace is nestled at the foothills, offering a breathtaking view as it is surrounded by the Aravali hills. Perched atop the hill, the Khawa Fortress stands as a proud sentinel.

Khawaraoji is located near the Golden Triangle of India (Delhi, Jaipur, Agra). The nearest airport is the Jaipur Airport with a travel distance of 86.6 km.

About Khawaraoji

The Chauhan settled in Khawaraoji and established their rule in the 16th century, overseeing an area that included 210 villages. It is the fief of Thikana during the Rajput period. Khawaraoji was founded by Rao Karan Singh Chauhan, the current head of the family is Rao Vishwak singh chauhan.

Khawa Palace (Hotel Khawa Palace)

Khawa Palace was built as a residence for the Rao of Khawa and his family. The old Palace is now renovated as a heritage Hotel (Hotel Khawa Palace) with ancient architecture and a display of heritage.
