Loa Janan (Indonesian pronunciation: [ˈloa ˈdʒanan]) is a district in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. As of 2023, it was inhabited by 76,051 people, and currently has the total area of 644.20 km. Its district seat is located at the village of Loa Janan Ulu.
Before 21 October 1987, the villages of Loa Buah, Loa Bakung, and Loa Janan Ilir were part of Loa Janan. Since then, these villages were transferred to Samarinda. The former village of Loa Janan Ilir then later evolved into its own district within the city.
