Potamia (Greek: Ποταμιά) is a former municipality in the Larissa regional unit, Thessaly, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Elassona, of which it is a municipal unit. Population 3,139 (2021). The municipal unit has an area of 200.279 km. The seat of the municipality was in Vlachogianni. The name of the municipality comes from the greek word "potamià" meaning "land with many rivers" (from potamòs, river).
