Froan Chapel in Sauøy.

Sauøy is a small island located in Froan archipelago, Frøya municipality, Trøndelag county, Norway. The island has not had a permanent settlement since Tommy Rodahl moved from the island in 2010. On Sauøy is the Froan chapel from 1904.

Farming is carried out in the area. Sauøy has some pasture and cultivated land, and sheep are kept. There is a significant influx of people to the island during the summer months. There is no speedboat connection to Sauøy in the winter, but up to several trips a week in the summer.
