Sources

The user Erechtheus and the bot Smackbot have tagged this article as unsourced. Obviously it's due to their lack of knowledge of the Valencian pilota sport.

Since I don't know their reasons to doubt of the facts explained in the article I provide just a few links (in Catalan and Spanish) in order to show his presence in different competitions and popularity:

  • 2007 Escala i Corda Individual final match:
    • "Sagunto acoge la final del XXII campeonato de Escala i Corda"
    • "Álvaro y Genovés II se juegan el título individual mañana en Sagunt a las 12.30 h"
  • 2001 European Handball Championship
    • "Sabor agridulce en el Campeonato de Europa"
  • Popularity, two examples:
  • Álvaro is chosen to visit the Catholic Pope ("Fredi y Álvaro llevan la pilota al Vaticano" )
  • Álvaro and Waldo at a school: "Els chiquets fruixen en Àlvaro i Waldo"

These are only the very first links Google gave me. So, should I offer a link for every championship Álvaro took part? Tell me what is doubtful and I'll source it. --Casaforra (parlem-ne) 17:04, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
