Not Mehmet I

It reads: Çandarlı Ali Paşa was the grand vizier of the Ottoman Empire from 1387 until 1406, under Sultans Bayezid I and Mehmed I. Actually Çandarlı Ali Pasha sided with Süleyman Çelebi during the Ottoman Interregnum. He was not a vizier or grand vizier of Mehmet I who was fighting against Süleyman. I'll call the editor.Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 13:48, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

I think you are right. I couldn't find at the time a source saying which sultans he served, just the years he was vizier. I'll change it, as several internet pages agree with you, however it would be nice if you found a reliable source confirming it. Thanks for notifying me.Baltaci (talk) 19:52, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

I've checked Iorga and Hammer. Çandarlı Ali was with Süleyman Çelebi. As a Turkish source I recommend Prof. Yaşar Yüce-Prof. Ali Sevim: Türkiye tarihi Cilt II Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 16:23, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
