WPJ Commentary

Almost a B-class. Here are my recommendations:

  • The article could use one more reference about the villa.
  • Coverage is adequate. A map would be nice. Why did Okochi choose that spot for a villa? The location is described in some detail, and would be helpful if the reader was familiar with Kyoto, but what if he's not? Where is Tenryu-ji? Is the villa north, south, east, or west of Kyoto? When was it built? Was it modelled on a particular style or period?
  • Terms: Put Japanese terms like "jidaigeki" in italics, or use an English term like "historical drama" with a re-direct, or simplify to "television actor". Put in a word or two about the tea ceremony: "macha tea complemented by a traditional confection", or something. Boneyard90 (talk) 02:11, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
