  • Şahkulu is not a proper noun and I don't rigorously insist using the word şah. But the rule in WP:Titles is; If there are too few English-language sources to constitute an established usage, follow the conventions of the language appropriate to the subject. Since there are no more than 5 sources in search engine, we can't refer to an established usage in English. So I think Şahkulu is more concenient in this case. Şahkulu RebellionShah Kulu rebellion – per WP:COMMONNAME & WP:USEENGLISH

As long as I understand, there are "common" names in English. But it's very clear that

are better than original research. Thank you. Takabeg (talk) 08:02, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

If here were Turkish Misplaced Pages, we could (maybe must) chose Şahkulu İsyanı.

in modern Turkish:

But in English:

  • Oppose:Please refer to WP:Tiles ; If there are too few English-language sources to constitute an established usage, follow the conventions of the language appropriate to the subject. Now there are too few sources in English to constritute an established usage in of this name. So the conventions of the language appropriate to the subject (Şahkulu) should be used. (By the way, in yahoo search engine 128000 Hans Christian Oerted vs 72000 Hans Christian Ørsted. But Misplaced Pages uses Hans Christian Ørsted the name appropriate to Danish instead of English). Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 08:05, 15 July 2011 (UTC)
We don't use yahoo search engine. We use google books according to Misplaced Pages:Article titles#Common names. Takabeg (talk) 08:14, 15 July 2011 (UTC)
