The Witch (Korean: 마녀) is an upcoming South Korean television series starring Park Jin-young and Roh Jeong-eui. Directed by Kim Tae-gyun, it is based on the webtoon of the same name by Kang Full. The series is scheduled to premiere on Channel A on February 15, 2025.
Synopsis
The woman called "The Witch" — if you approach her, you die. At first, it was curiosity and admiration, but Lee Dong-jin, as he embraces Park Mi-jeong's world, comes to feel compassion for her. As everyone who approaches her suffers tragic events, Mi-jeong, overwhelmed by guilt, runs away from the world. A man who threw away his life to break the law of death and a woman who, in truth, wanted to be remembered by someone. The story of two people who become each other's salvation at the end of their unyielding journey.

Production
The series is based on the webtoon The Witch by Kang Full. It is written by Jo Yoo-jin and directed by Kim Tae-gyun. Channel A announced the series as part of its 2025 drama lineup.
On April 28, 2022, it was reported that Park Jin-young and Roh Jeong-eui had been confirmed as the series' leads.
Principal photography wrapped up in March 2023.
Release
The Witch is set to premiere on February 15, 2025, on Channel A.
