David Rufyikiri (born 14 December 2003), popularly known as Theecember, is a Burundian singer, songwriter and producer who gained recognition with his viral freestyle video of ”FINESSE” by Pheelz.
Early life and education
Theecember was born in Kinindo, Bujumbura. He began music early by joining the local church choir and he had also developed his passion for music during his secondary school days where he started music production.
Career
2019-2021 (Career beginnings and record deals)
Theecember music career starts when he was just starting college with a viral freestyle video he did on ”Finesse” by Nigerian artist Pheelz where it got him signed on NWE Worldwide roaster of artists. In July 2022, Theecember released his first single ”Gumako” Produced by KdaGreat.
2022 - Present
He then followed up with several single releases such as "Back to you" in April 2023. "Uransaza" followed up in June 2023.
In 2023, Theecember got the chance to be featured on ColorsxStudios, an international performance platform, where he debuted his new single "Permission" produced by Dollarbeats.
In 2024, He then released two new singles "Kila Siku" in May, and "BLKN" while continously making freestyle videos
which some had massive engagement like "BheBha Remix" and many more.
