Thomas Denmark Burnette (July 29, 1915 – September 9, 1994) was an American football blocking back who played one season for two teams, the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of North Carolina for the North Carolina Tar Heels football team. Burnette was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the eighth round of the 1938 NFL draft.
