Valerian Shuvaev (16 March 1955 – 3 July 2024) was a Russian diplomat. He was born in Barnaul, Russian SFSR. He was the ambassador to Iraq from 2008 to 2012 and Algeria from 2022 until his death on 3 July 2024, at the age of 69.
