We Mavericks are a New Zealand-Australian contemporary folk duo formed in 2018. The duo consists of Victoria Vigenser and Lindsay Martin.
History
Formation
We Mavericks was formed in 2018 following the release of Vigenser's album The Gap, which was co-produced by Martin. The album, recorded in New South Wales. The project began with songs previously written by Vigenser and later developed into a collaborative effort with Martin handling the mixing, mastering, and instrumental arrangements.
Grief’s a Gardener
The duo released their debut album, Grief’s a Gardener, in 2022. It was produced by Vigenser and Martin on Dharawal country in the Illawarra region of New South Wales.
