The lowfin houndshark, Iago sp.A, is a houndshark of the family Triakidae, found in the Indian Ocean from the Gulf of Aden to the southeast coast of India. Its habitat is the waters of the outer continental shelf and upper slopes below a depth of 183 m, but it is also semipelagic. It can grow up to a length of 41 cm.
